HOW WE WORK

One approach 3 directions

Our working model, established in our Theory of Change, stems from the parental stance we have always taken towards children. Our actions develop in three directions.

To create transformative and enduring changes

PROTECTION

Prevent, reduce and keep children safe from abuse, neglet, human trafficking, exploitation (economic and sexual), harmful traditional practices, and abandonment.

INCLUSION

Fight child poverty, inequality and the barriers that prevent children from accessing education, healthcare, water, hygiene, food and the fulfilment of their rights.

PSYCHO-EMOTIONAL WELLBEING

Provide a thriving family and social environment that allows a bold psychological and emotional development.
Stand by children who have suffered trauma and abuse or those who face cultural and educational poverty to regain trust and self-consciousness.

A tangible impact

We assess the impact of our work through measurable indicators that track the changes we are making in the life of children.

4 INDICATORS OF CHANGE

LESS CHILDREN LEFT ALONE

Reduction of their vulnerability.
More access to education, health, psycho-emotional wellbeing and consciousness of their rights and how to claim them.

MORE CONSCIOUS FAMILIES

Growing capacity to recognise the vulnerability of their own children.
Greater awareness and competence in the parental role.
Increased resilience.

MORE INCLUSIVE COMMUNITIES

Capacity to recognise the vulnerability of children.
Readiness to put in place systems of protection and inclusion.

MORE ACTIVE AUTHORITIES

Increased capacity to guarantee child protection.
Commitment to provide adequate services.
